CAFE HOPPING
Been going around doing some cafe-hopping and finding other food places that serves great stuffs during this 2 weeks of holidays! There's definitely still a whole list of places and cafe i haven't yet been able to find the time for paying a visit. Nevertheless, there have been located and targetted! Menus have been flipped and prices plus reviews have been checked, what's coming up next is to slot in my weekend time for them. Down here's a few places i have visited with friends & families:
D' Good Cafe @ Holland Village (Walk 5 minutes from exit B)
Currently my favourite on the list, D' Good Cafe brings back vintage atmosphere as it's beautifully crafted and designed in a way that is so unique! Latte comes in big size and the specific latte arts can be requested. Their Lava cakes is a must try! I am totally in love with their Egg Benedict Breakfast set too.
Stranger's Reunion @ near Outram Park (10 minutes walk from exit F)
It was a hard time trying to locate this cafe as it blends into the shop-houses along the streets. Ambience there is great and the food had a pass from me. A pity was that my favourite latte comes in a too-small size (as for me).
Astons Specialities @ (available at a lot of places)
Astons have always been the first restaurant i thought of after USS with my friends or when i am i town (Scape)! The bills are not inclusive of GST and service charges, and their Black Pepper Steak and Char Grill chicken is my favourites.
Char Grill Bar @ Kovan
A outdoor cafe located among coffee shops in Kovan, Char Grill Bar serves cheap and worthy food to western food lovers! Their service is fast and i believe that if given a greater opportunity for them to set up a cafe of their own, they will definitely be popular.
Gelateria Italia @ Causeway Point
This piece of waffle might look small in picture, but it is a pretty big portion when you order it! Great effort was put in preparing this and it was served hot to me! They have a wide variety and choices of ice-creams to choose from (even alcoholics ones). Prices might not be that cheap but it is worth it!
Lenu (乐牛) @ VivoCity
No Adjectives could describe my love for their Beef Noodles! The beefs are soft and tender while the noodles are really springy! The deepest impression for me was the soup! The taste of it stucks in your taste buds for awhile before going off, making you long for more! Too bad i could never get enough of it despite it coming in adequate portion.
Lola's Cafe @ Kovan (Simon Road)
One of the popular cafe i've found on websites! Have not yet tried the other choices on the menu but their Egg Benedict had already left me a good impression! Service was good while they make use of mobile message and calling system to notify you when your queue number is here! I like their ideas of how they arranged the foods and i can't wait to get back there.
